I think for my baby shower, I am going to ask for nothing but diapering essentials.....?

like a year supply of diapers and wipes, overnight diapers, some rash creams, and a diaper genie.... so should i tell my host that I want a diaper shower? is it rude to stress that we really only want those things?????
