If republicans shut up, and democrats stopped being so arrogant, would our country get somewhere?

As a wise man once said "The only thing in the middle of the road are yellow stripes and dead armadillos". I'm tired of compromise. Obama wasted the first year of his Presidency trying to compromise with the CONs. As much as I hate to admit it, the repubs do some things right. When they are in power, they muscle their agenda through. When they are out of power, they block damn near everything they don't like or at least weaken it so that it's not very effective. Obama and the Dems need to grow a pair and get tough - and WE THE PEOPLE need to hammer them until they do.
