Mortal Kombat 9 Story Ending?

The characters won't stay dead, any true MK fan knows that, otherwise they won't be in the next game, the elder gods will probably resurrect them or something, maybe Quan Chi will turn to the side of good and resurrect them if the elder gods won't, Quan Chi might resurrect them anyway to serve him but he might perform the spell wrong and they attack him, who knows
