Should this teacher get fired for shoving a student?

Im in eighth grade and at lunch time, a guy in my cl went to go get his books out of his locker, but our gym teacher(he is also our lunch supervisor) told him to go sit back down. The student went up to the teacher and asked again politely if he could get his books because our homeroom teacher wouldn't allow him to get them at any other time and the teacher still said no. Five minutes later the student stood up to go to his locker and the teacher got up, yelled at the guy and told him to stand outside of the clroom. Five minutes later the student came back in to go get his lunch so he could eat it outside. The teacher got up, yelled at the guy and shoved him out the room. (Remember: The student is only about 90 lbs and 4'11 and our gym teacher is over 200 lbs and is like 6'2) When the student came back into the clroom he was crying. Who should get in trouble? The student or the teacher?
