well if i was you i'd go for the parakeet they are smarter then the diamond dove and don't make as much of a mess, they much more interesting and they're so many mutations to chose from. they are not loud they only make this cute chirping sound to themselves. if you go for the diamond dove or the parakeet get it from a breeder not a pet shop it will be better cared for and cheaper
