Ok ferret noise solution what do you have in your cage so when they fall out of bed at night they dont ...?

wake up on the cage floor scratching. i have a 4 story ferret nation cage. i have 2 ideas. one is put a towel on every floor to dampen the sound of her claws and 2 is get a bunch of carpet peiced that way i can replace. Has anyone ever used like astro turf for reptiles in there. they can be removed and washed. help help i slept ok last night but i dont know if i can wake up every 3 hours waiting for her to go back to sleep.
