My 9yr old daughter use to be so independent a baby @ times but most kind of mature. I think she traumatized!?

Both of our children 12 yr old son and 9yr old daughter are not allowed to watch any wrestling nor scary movies or programs. They both had their usual spoke at night but my husband and I solve it with a night light and opening the door to each of their bedrooms etc... For the past 1 1/2 months, my daughter became extremely spoke, terrified, traumatized by a book about real life ghist stories that her clmate brong to cl and shared with daughter. Since then, my daughter isnt the same. We have to take turns sleeping with her since she would not sleep on her own. I believe we had tried everything to accomodate her... Its so serious that we had to take her to her pediatician and possibly seeking more help... This is not about the typical booggyman, she is so terrified that is sad and scary to us... She has this hunting images of a family that were killed like in the 1800's including 3 small children. I cry when I see her so scared for her life, since she thinks that eventually theyll come for her ETC!!!! Please help, my baby girl is terrified. Thanks!
