I need help changing the lyrics to Elton John's "crocodile rock" for my jewish youth group?

i'm in a jewish youth group and we are competing in a competition very soon. one of the events consists of writing and performing a song. i have chosen "crocodile rock" by Elton John but i am a little stumped on most of the lyrics. For Example: " I remember when i was young, middle school was so much fun...". can someone please give me some ideas.
