I don't think the family ever put value on any of the children, including Michael. I think the children were used to make the parents money, and I agree with you, they seem to be more focused on getting as much money as they can from his death. It is very sad. I was not a fan of his, so I didn't pay attention to the movie or the MTV awards. Often when someone dies they give awards like that, I guess they think things like that bring more viewers to the show. His father is narcissistic and narcissistic people can't comprehend what they are doing is wrong. In his mind, he is right and the world is wrong, he has the right to make money off of his son like that. It is just so sad how some families are.
